Wei-Ling’s research is focused on the planets, satellites, and comets in our solar system and their interactions with the ambient plasma environments. Using radio telescopes, we can investigate the molecular composition of their atmospheres. This includes studying active geological and gaseous activities such as those found on Enceladus, Europa, and Io. To supplement these observations, in situ measurements from spacecraft missions like Juno, Cassini, JUICE and Europa Clipper are essential. So we can gain insights into the evolution of these celestial bodies as well as the conditions that may have led to the origins of life.
