摘要:

Molecular clouds due to their high mass and low temperature are usually considered as space calorimeters. They are used to determine spectra of cosmic rays in the vicinity of the Solar system and also provide us information about active processes in the Galactic center. During my talk I am going to review some well-know applications of the molecular clouds such as "Compton echo" from the Galactic center. Also I going to present new results related to study of sub-relativistic part of the spectrum of cosmic rays. This component is essential for the ionization of the interstellar medium and also can provide us information about processes of cosmic rays acceleration. However sub-relativistic cosmic rays do not have radiation signatures like relativistic ones and therefore their detection in the distant part of the Galaxy is really difficult. We use available X-Ray, gamma-ray data and information about hydrogen ionization in the Galactic center to reconstruct spectrum of sub-relativistic cosmic rays.
