"Rosetta, cometary ices, and cometary activity"

時間/地點: 2016-10-28 14:00 [S4-1013]

摘要:

The composition of cometary ices provides clues to the chemistry and conditions prevailing in the early solar system. However, our knowledge about the chemistry of comets results mainly from observations of cometary atmospheres. The study of the development of cometary activity, with the goal to relate coma and nucleus chemical properties, is one of the main goals of the Rosetta mission to comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. A review on cometary ice composition, ice distribution on the nucleus surface, and activity processes will be presented in the light of new findings obtained from the Rosetta mission.
