With ten field Centers and four major mission areas, NASA has a broad portfolio ranging from world class scientific research, cutting edge technology development, to building and launching space exploration missions that revolutionize our understanding of the Earth, the solar system, and the universe.
Dr. J.C. Duh, a 32-year NASA veteran, and a retired NASA senior executive, will provide an in-depth review of NASA’s organization and its major programs in the four major mission areas: aeronautics, space technology, robotics space exploration, and human space exploration. He will offer a historical view of the past, discuss the current state and challenges of the Agency, explain the strategic direction of NASA, and highlight the upcoming major space missions. He will also shed light on NASA’s core values and its unique culture.
