摘要:

Bright asteroids can be imaged with relatively short exposure to ensure non-trailed, roundish PSF for better astrometry accuracy. But faint asteroids, the dilemma of short exposures with low S/N or long exposures with trailed images pose a serious problem for high accuracy astrometry. In this talk, I will explain how I plan to achieve deca-milli-arcsecond astrometry with a combination of digital tracking, differential correction to the osculating orbital elements and orbital integrator to achieve the astrometry accuracy needed for predicting stellar occultation by the outer solar system small bodies.
