Ninety years ago, Fritz Zwicky noticed that the mass of a galaxy cluster computed from the sum of its members' luminosity was different from that estimated by tracing their respective dynamics. Later in the twentieth century, we began to suspect that the universe is filled with exotic matter, which we conventionally call dark matter. Despite the efforts of particle physicists, many of the properties attributed to dark matter still come from astrophysical theories or studies. In this seminar, I will discuss how studying galaxy clusters and superclusters can help us shed light on the darkness of dark matter.
