摘要:
We present a comprehensive analysis of the early to post-peak photometric and spectroscopic evolution of the nearby Type-Ic superluminous supernova (SLSN) 2024ahr, located at a redshift of 0.086. A notable feature of SN 2024ahr is the presence of a pre-peak bump (~20 days long), a rarity among SLSNe discovered after 2020. Photometric observations from ATLAS, ZTF, SLT, and Swift reveal a slowly rising light curve (~70 days long) and a peak absolute magnitude of r ≈ −21.0 mag. Spectroscopic data, obtained through the ePESSTO+ and ZTF collaborations, show that SN 2024ahr exhibits similarities to the well-studied SLSN-Ic SN 2015bn. The appearance of an asymmetric [O I] feature around 6300 and 6364 Å, observed roughly 100 days post-peak, indicates potential asphericity in the explosion geometry. Furthermore, we have generated synthetic spectra using SYN++, and the observed light curve is well reproduced by the magnetar-powered model implemented in MOSFiT.
