摘要:
Neutral hydrogen (HI) provides a key diagnostic of galactic dynamics, gas accretion, and feedback. Deep integrations of the nearby spiral galaxy M31 with the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST), combined with interferometric data, reveal clear correlations between stellar feedback and the kinematics and spatial distribution of atomic gas and the interstellar medium. For low-mass galaxies hosting active galactic nuclei or vigorous star formation, high-sensitivity single-dish observations complemented by interferometric mapping enable direct evaluation of gas depletion and replenishment processes. This presentation will introduce recent HI studies of M31 and nearby dwarf galaxies based on FAST, VLA, and GMRT data. The results highlight the power of FAST–interferometer synergy for probing the multi-phase interstellar medium and baryon cycle. Emphasis will also be placed on the complementary role of continuum and multi-wavelength analyses in understanding gas dynamics and feedback in galaxies
